My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sara is a beautiful and sweet Walker Hound who’s ready to find her forever home! Unfortunately, this lovely girl was brought back due to no fault of her own, and she’s looking for a special family to love.
✨About Sara:✨
- Spayed & Microchipped: She’s ready to go home today!
- Leash Trained & Housebroken: Sara walks beautifully on a leash and keeps her space clean.
- Great with Other Dogs & Kids: She loves the company of her furry friends and enjoys snuggling with people of all ages.
- Cuddle Bug: Sara’s favorite pastime is to snuggle up and soak up all the love and attention she can get!
❤️Heartworm Treatment❤️: Sara has tested positive for heartworms but is currently being medicated. We would love for her to go to a foster or foster-adopt home during her treatment, where she can heal and thrive in a loving environment.
If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will fill your home with warmth and joy, Sara is the perfect match! Let’s give this sweet girl the chance she deserves. 🏡For more information about fostering or adopting Sara, please reach out to us or come by during our hours! Let’s find this beautiful girl the loving home she needs. 🐶💖

More about this shelter

It is our mission to inform our community of the state laws and city ordinances in place for vaccinations, tethering/chaining, and sheltering needs. Any dog impounded by our shelter can be reclaimed by his rightful owner during a 72 hour hold period. If the dog brought in has any type of identification we will make reasonable effort to contact the owner and the hold period will be 5 business days. Once the hold period is up, all healthy/adoptable dogs will be put up for adoption or sent to a registered 501(c)3 rescue. Please LIKE and SHARE our page to see incoming dogs!
