This sweet girl is ready to bring joy to your life! Angko is a total sweetheart who loves people of all kinds, she adores belly rubs and will show you her belly right away! Angko loves to play with dogs of similar size, and gets along great with them. She does have a prey drive and tends to chase cats on the street, so a home without cats may be best.

Angko is leash trained, crate trained, and house trained as well. She rarely barks, only when she hears a noise outside but responds promptly to corrections. With a medium energy level, Angko enjoys outdoor playtime but is also happy to relax quietly at home or play with her stuffy toys. Angko does not have and aggressive behaviours or resource guarding, and does not chew anything she isn't supposed to at home.

Angko was found on the street and sent to a kill shelter 💔

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Carefully review the profile of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting to determine if it’s the right fit and submit an application.

2.
Interview

Our team will review the application to determine suitability. If selected, one of our volunteers will contact you for the next step.

3.
Home Check

Following a satisfactory interview and home check, a volunteer will complete all necessary reference checks

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If approved, the adopter must sign the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee accordingly.

5.
Meet the Pet

Once all documentation is complete and the initial deposit is confirmed, one of our volunteers will arrange the travel plan for the dog.

Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.

We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.
