Approx birthdate 7/11/24 Sweet friendly social Rosemary came to STH with a broken femoral head and what we thought was a hernia. She was just a tiny one pound kitten that needed lots of cage rest. After 1.5 months of cage rest she was released to be a normal kitten while we waited for the 3 pound mark so if she needed a big surgery she would be of weight. Well the good bews is that the cage rest worked! She healed up nicely and and there was no hernia! Rosemary is a normal happy crazy kitten! She loves to rip through the house and play! She plays with her roommate Mel all the time and loves the lab she lives with! It would be great for her and Mel to go home together but i also feel if rosemary has any companion she wont get into as much trouble when she is bored. One draw back to the long cage rest and an injured hind leg she didnt get picked up as much as she would have without the injury. So now she doesnt love it but allows it. She is around a 4 year old little human that just loves her and she allows lots of loving from her. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion.
