Mocha and her brother, Espresso, are very lovable and unique pair of bonded special needs kittens! They were surrendered at a local vet clinic as their owner could not care for them. This amazing pair was born with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), and this results in them physically twitching, and sometimes falling over in the litterbox. While there is no cure for CH in felines, this will not keep Mocha and Espresso from finding their forever family, as Purrfect Pals specializes in special needs kitties. Their lifespan should be the same as a cat without CH.
Mocha and Espresso can run, jump, and play just like any other kittens! They absolutely LOVE to play with kickaroo toys, the ball tower, and their crinkle cat tunnel! They do best walking on a carpeted surface, or floor that has mats or blankets so they can grip and not slip. They also lean against walls and furniture to help them navigate the world!
A family who is cat saavy would be ideal for them. They would do fine with older children and most likely other cats, but unknown how they would be with dogs. Mocha and Espresso are sweet and very social kittens, they love to be with people! They are eating a prescription diet Royal Canin gastrointestinal canned and dry.
Mocha and Espresso have been vaccinated, altered, microchipped, and viral tested. Please put in an application for them and we'll arrange for you to come meet them in person!
