Once he is ready - Rollo will show he is a playful, affectionate boy who loves scratches all over! He has a big personality and will enthusiastically press his body into you for attention.

Rollo was standing near the door with his ears back, body tense and low. He sniffed curiously and did a lot of leash dodging when it was time to be secured but the handler was able to finally secure him and came out.

Pulls minimally- fearful (tried to run and hide)
HANDLING:
In the yard, Rollo was a little nervous and timid, sniffing around the yard curiously. He went to the handlers with neutral eyes and allowed all handling. He is a goofy boy and warms up into a wild and crazy dog with puppy energy. He loves scratches and can get a little mouthy with play and affection. He knows no boundaries and will bombard his body into you. He knows to sit and paw and takes treats gently. He is very jumpy and crazy but remains extremely playful and outgoing.

The Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is the region’s largest animal care and control service provider. ACCT Philly is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit organization, contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide animal control services. Our animal control officers provide service over 142.6 square miles to the city’s more than 1.5 million residents and ACCT Philly’s facility in North Philadelphia handles more than 17,000 of the city’s animals, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife, annually.
In addition to animal control and sheltering, ACCT Philly is open 365 days a year for pet adoptions. ACCT Philly also supports a foster care program where community members provide temporary homes for sheltered animals and one of the (if not THE) most extensive rescue partnership program in the country where approved rescue partners accept ACCT Philly animals into their adoption programs. Under contract ACCT Philly’s Animal Control Officers provide animal control services and code enforcement.
