My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guksoo is stiiiiill looking for a loving family ❤️
He is currently being fostered in Barrie, ON.

Guksoo is a neutered Jindo mix boy, about 4 years old, 16 kg
He can be shy at first, but slowly warms up over time, quicker with women than men. He loves eating and going on walks, so he will open up quickly with treats and walks and become affectionate and will give you lots of kisses and hugs 🤗 He is ok with gentle kids as well and god with other dogs.

He has a medium energy level. He has no prey drive and ignores cats when he meets them while on walks. He is leash-trained and house-trained. He is not a barker and has no destructive behaviours.

More about this rescue

Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.

We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.

Our dog rescue work depends on our flight volunteers. They help us safely bring our dogs from Korea to Vancouver or Toronto airports, where the dogs will find loving forever or foster homes.
