My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I’m Shadow, a 2-year-old, 88 lb adventure buddy with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Whether it’s mastering elevators on a hotel outing, posing like a pro during a photo shoot, or playing a goofy game of fetch, I’m always ready to bring fun and joy to every moment.

I’m known for my sweet and cuddly nature—I’m just as happy snuggling up for a nap as I am exploring the world. I love having dog friends, but I’m just as good at making human ones, and I’ve quickly become a favorite of the shelter and Marriott staff.

I’m currently on a treatment plan for heartworms, and with plenty of support, I’ll be back to full health soon. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and loving companion, I’m your perfect match.

I am neutered and fully vaccinated. My adoption fee has been sponsored by a very generous donor so I am FREE to go home!
