Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!
Meet Joy, the adorable 5-year-old Mini Bernedoodle who is looking for her forever family. Weighing in at just 24 pounds she is the perfect size for a lap, but she has the energy to play with the family and enjoy long walks.
After spending her first 5 years as a foster mill mother, Joy is ready to find her forever home where she can be the beloved pet she deserves to be.
Joy is a bundle of happiness, always sporting a cheerful demeanor and a wagging tail. She adores her toys and loves to go on walks, exploring the world with curiosity and excitement. She also really enjoys a good belly rub and is affectionate with her entire family. While she's learned to enjoy the comforts of home life.
Joy will need a patient family who can help her with house training. She has done great so far in her small room (no accidents), but it is always important to remember her first five years were not in a home. She is crate trained, and waits patiently for her foster mom each morning to some and take her for her walk.
This affectionate girl thrives on human companionship and will flourish in a loving environment where she can be showered with attention. If you're looking for a loyal and joyful companion to brighten your days, Joy might just be the perfect match for you!
Are you ready to open your heart and home to Joy? She can't wait to meet you and start her new chapter filled with love, fun, and endless cuddles!
Joy is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
