Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!

Meet Petunia! This happy-go-lucky gal is a 3 year old poodle/terrier mix who weighs around 35 lbs. She loves nothing more than to be around her people and have the best time enjoying life.

Petunia is a smart, playful dog! While she loves to get the zoomies and run around, she is also happy to cuddle up next to you on the couch or look peacefully out the window. She loves toys and bones but doesn't always want to share with others, but she is a great listener and very motivated to learn. Petunia is fostered with other dogs and does well with them! She would likely do best with a dog that can match her play style or ones who don't mind her playful exuberance, but she would also be happy as the only dog in the home as she loves her people the most!

Petunia is both crate-trained and house-trained! She will go into her crate for a high value treat and may whine for a bit when her people leave but eventually settles down. Petunia does well on the leash and loves to go for a walk through the neighborhood.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
