Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!
Meet Elvira! Elvira is a 3 month old, 18 pound, Bernedoodle pup saved from life in a puppy mill! Elvira is as sweet as they come. She LOVES to play, but also loves to snuggle up for a chill night or a good nap. Her foster family says that she is the perfect combination of calm and play. Elvira has met kids, cats and dogs in her foster home and she hasn't found one that she doesn't like yet! Elvira is particularly fond of kids and would love to have a kiddo or two of her own in her forever home.
Elvira is still very much a puppy in the sense that she needs to be potty trained, learn how to walk on a leash, etc. Her foster family is certain that she will pick up on these things very quickly in her forever home! She does fantastic in her crate at her foster home and does not make a peep once it's bedtime.
Elvira can't wait to meet her forever family! If it sounds like Elvira might be a good fit for you, apply today! Her adoption fee is $450!

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
