Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!
Meet FJ! FJ is a 7 year old, 13 pound, Shih Tzu. FJ is a puppy mill rescue and she is LOVING living the good life!
Since coming into rescue, FJ has been to see a professional groomer. She did absolutely wonderful there and was an easy customer! FJ has met kids, dogs and cats while in her foster home and she has done great with everyone she has met! While she does have a little bit of shyness in new situations and with new people, once she knows she's safe, she warms up very quickly. She loves snuggling in her person's lap and loves going on walks and getting to explore.
FJ is very well behaved in her crate! She is working diligently on her potty training. She has had an accident or two in her crate if left alone for an extended period of time, but she has not had an accident while free roaming in her foster home. She also uses the bathroom every time she goes outside, so her foster family is convinced that she will pick up on potty training very quickly with a consistent routine and some patience!
This sweet girl deserves the absolute BEST family and BEST life! She will be such a wonderful addition to her forever home! If you'd like to make FJ a part of your family - apply today! FJ is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
