Meet the beautiful and sweet Missy. Missy is a beautiful light orange colored girl with gorgeous, bright green eyes, just 2 - 3 years old. She was found as a stray, taken to a shelter, and had been inside a shelter cage since April 2023 - 1 YEAR AND 6 MONTHS! All that time she has been wondering if she will ever get out of her cage and what will happen to her. When the shelter was at capacity, she was at the top of the list to lose her life, so Forgotten Felines brought her into care.

Missy is a sweet, gentle, girl. She knows her name and will meow to you when you call her, immediately coming to you, and will hesitantly stand about a foot away, sweetly meowing again until you ask her to come closer. She loves to be pet on her head, neck, and shoulders and will let you know if she wants more by head butting you and will gently paw at you when she needs a rest from affection.

Once in foster care, Missy quickly transitioned out of a crate and has absolutely flourished! She LOVE, LOVE, LOVES to be around the other cats and will head butt them, and will walk beside them side by side, like velcro. When they eat, she eats. She is so happy to be part of a family of cats and have companionship. It s absolutely heartwarming. Missy enjoys laying in front of a sunny window, all stretched out. She loves her canned food, too.

Missy's perfect home would be a quiet, low energy home with another cat or two and either adults, or cat-friendly kids over the age of 10 years old. She is fully vetted and is ready to come home with an approved application. Missy is dewormed, spayed, has received her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.
