Meet MAX!

Max is a 3-year-old Belgian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. He’s calm, patient, and fantastic with kids—including small children and a newborn in his current home. Max is the ultimate cuddle buddy, and he’s just as great with dogs of all sizes—his best friend was a Maltipoo ! His love for fetch keeps him active and engaged, while his food motivation makes him easy to train. Max is excellent on a leash and loves exploring, always up for new adventures. Whether it’s chasing a ball, playing with his canine pals, or snuggling up at home, Max is a loving, loyal companion through and through.

Hes at risk of ending up at the shelter because his family moved away and left him behind. That would be a crying shame because Max is the best boy who deserves a loving forever family. He can't wait to find you!

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
