My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Orion, the playful and curious kitten with a love for both treats and rough-and-tumble fun with his sister, Cassiopeia! Though a bit on the reserved side with people, Orion is full of potential and just needs a little patience to become the ultimate lap cat. He's all about the action when playing with Cassiopeia—expect some wrestling matches, the occasional thump on the floor, and even some meows from his sister when things get a bit too intense! However, when he's not in the middle of sibling playtime, Orion is a quiet observer, often watching Cassiopeia’s antics before deciding to join in.

Orion's favorite toys? The pom-pom ball, which he and Cassiopea adorably take turns with! Despite his reserved nature, food and treats like Churu are the way to his heart. He’ll happily sit on your lap for a snack and may stay for some pets, even when he realizes no treats are forthcoming! His deep, soothing purr might be quieter than most, but it’s a sweet reward for your patience. He loves having his chin and neck scratched, although he’s still working on his tolerance for long petting sessions and can sometimes give little nips when he’s had enough.

With a little more time, treats, and love, Orion is well on his way to becoming your perfect lap cat!

Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop!

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
