My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cassiopeia, or Cassi for short, a playful and sweet-natured kitty who’s all about fun, affection, and the occasional treat! Cassi has a favorite toy—a sparkly pom-pom ball—that she and her brother, Orion, take turns playing with. It's the cutest thing to watch, as they patiently wait for their turn to bat it around. She's also a fan of wand toys, spring toys, boxes, and stuffed mice, showing off her playful and curious side at every opportunity!

Cassi is quick to purr, often starting as soon as her human approaches, showing how much she loves attention. While she’s still learning to fully trust being picked up or petted, she’s making progress—sometimes she’ll come close as if asking for affection but then quickly scoots away when you reach for her. Patience is key with this little sweetheart!

Treats, especially Churu, are a big hit with Cassi. She'll happily sit in your lap to enjoy a snack and even stays a little while after the treats are gone, though she’s still working on building up her snuggle time. With more love and patience, she’s definitely on her way to becoming a snuggle queen.

One adorable quirk? Play is Cassi’s love language—she often chooses playing over eating! A little trick her foster has learned is to use a wand toy to guide her to the food bowl, and only then does she realize she’s hungry.

Cassi is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and curious, with the potential to become an even bigger cuddle bug with time!

Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop!

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
