These elegant fish are excellent for community tanks and add a tranquil beauty to any aquarium setup. Here’s what you need to know to care for them:

Environment: Freshwater
Ideal Setup: A well-planted tank with hiding spots, soft lighting, and gentle water flow to mimic their natural habitat
Size: Approx. selling size is 1.5-2.5", but they can grow up to 4-5"
Minimum Tank Size: 30 gallons
Temperament: Peaceful; compatible with other gentle species
Diet: Omnivore—accepts flakes, pellets, and enjoys treats of live or frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms
