Need a reliable, stoic, constant companion to stay by your side and provide you tidbits of feline wisdom on being virtuous and living The Good Life? Now's your chance to have your very own household philosopher: meet suave senior Seneca!
Seneca is looking for a companion that can assist him on his journey from Oh Lawd He Comin to just your standard level chonk. Like a precious Roman artifact, Seneca knows that the beautiful is meant to be appreciated...visually, from afar. He also knows through rigorous self-examination ("Know thyself!") that he is beautiful. It follows, therefore, that he is meant to be appreciated, visually, from afar. Seneca is prepared to defend this philosophy by engaging in civilized debate, upon which the victor will be responsible for treating all parties to a round. Of course, the abstract wonders of philosophy aren't for everyone; Seneca knows that. Some people are born Epicureans and Hedonists --they can't get away from all that luvvy duvvy, touchy-feely nonsense -- but Seneca balances out those needs with those of his own, so a life full of genial independence is one of his greater indulgences.
Seneca was surrender first to the city shelter ACCT before coming to PAWS, with the reason being one of those most immutable and unavoidable of fates...he got old. Along with that defiance of time, Seneca started having issues reliably using the litter box, so he will need to have that monitored and managed. His big body has not done any favors to his bones, so a little weight loss could help him in a lot of ways, including that litter box usage if he is having any arthritic issues getting in and out or just to the box in time (also access to multiple boxes).
