A spicy kitten ready for play and love!
Matcha is one of two girls in the litter, and also on the smaller side as compared to her brothers. She is affectionate and a little spicy in her play, loving to pounce on toes, brooms and all other objects. She likes to explore, and is especially interested in toys that move or make noise.
Matcha is part of a delightful brood of kittens (her siblings are Taro A57013, Honeymilk A57014, and Oolong A57016). These adorable siblings came to us at around 6-7 weeks after their mama no longer wanted to care for them. They are now about 3 months old and happy, playful and affectionate. They all purr like a motor, and can’t get enough of cuddles and play time (though they are also perfectly content to nap or play with their siblings during the day). Ideally, the kittens would join a resident cat, or be adopted as a pair so they could have continued kitty social contact, since they are very social and bonded to one another.
NOTE: the kittens are all currently being treated for ringworm, although only two of them (Taro and Honeymilk) ever developed signs, and they appear to be well on their way to full recovery.
Ringworm care can actually be a breeze with the right set-up and if you have the time to dedicate to it, but can be a bit tedious since it can spread easily to any living creature and requires some caution to prevent that. Ideally we would love to find a home without any really young kids or other pets, just to limit the risk of exposure, unless the home has enough space to keep everyone fully and safely separated. PAWS provides all of the medications and other treatments needed at our clinic, so please read through the info linked below and if you feel like your home would be a fit you can apply and reach out to us to learn more!
