Meet Baby Cakes! At three years old, this little spitfire loves to remind her foster family that parrots are not too far removed from their prehistoric ancestors. Like most lovebirds, she is a lot of personality shoved into a teeny tiny body. Bursting with energy, she loves to spend her time following her foster family around, sipping water from their cupped hands (which is pretty darn cute), and exploring. Her foster family is working on improving her step ups, as she can still be a little hand-shy. She prefers to hang out on shoulders, but will eat treats from your hand and enjoys meeting new people. As far as noise goes, she can be a little boisterous, especially while playing or when excited (which is...pretty much all of the time), so families with noise sensitivities should consider this before applying. If you have lots of toys, unlimited treats to offer, plenty of energy to participate in lovebird games, and maybe another small bird or two, please consider putting in an application!
