My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frida is one of four kittens in a litter that we found when they were just 10 days old. We brought her family indoors, mother included, and made sure that the babies would grow up knowing and appreciating the human touch, unlike their mother.

Now six months old, Frida’s personality is fully revealed. She is a little mother figure, attentive to her human as much as she is to her brother. She seeks out pets and is very tactile. As the runt of her little, she’s petite, but she is mighty!

Frida has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, is negative for FIV/FeLV, and is microchipped. She is not afraid of cat-friendly dogs. Solo adoption will be considered, but preference will be given to parties interested in adopting a bonded pair. She and her brother Maurice, with whom she is pictured, are quite close.

If interested, please send an e-mail to theamericanstreetcat@gmail.com and request an adoption application. Adoption fees apply so that we can continue to help more kitties in need.

More about this rescue

NOTE: If you have found or trapped cats, or need to relinquish your own, please contact stationary shelters in your area. We do not handle public intakes.

The American Street Cat, Inc's primary focus is on TNR (trap-neuter-return), but the kittens and friendlies found during the rescue effort cannot be ignored. They are brought indoors, well-cared for in a non-shelter environment, and promoted for adoption upon a clean bill of health.

We are a small, volunteer-based, non-profit organization, with no paid officers or staff. Any donations of time and/or money will be greatly appreciated.

We are committed to minimizing the pet overpopulation problem, thereby minimizing the homelessness of beautiful adoptables such as ours.
