My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Clippy, a handsome and brightly orange colored 2 year old  tabby. Clippy and many other cats were dumped in a marina in Brooklyn, he was part of a very successful rescue. At the start Clippy was very skittish and didn’t like being handled, but with much love and attention from his fosters he has evolved into a real sociable little creature. Clippy now enjoys cuddling with people (even strangers) and being around other cats. He loves giving head butts and sitting beside you on the couch. He is also known for making goofy expressions and chomping down on Churu treats. Clippy has grown to be one of the sweetest and most affectionate cats we’ve ever met, once he’s on your lap he’s easy to carry or scoop up and did we mention how deeply he purrs?! Clippy is bound to bring much joy to any cat loving person ready to adopt a true companion, Clippy is surely packed and ready to meet you.

Clippy is up to date on all vaccinations, tested negative FeLV/FIV and is neutered. If you’re interested in meeting this extremely desirable feline, visit BrooklynAnimalAction.org and submit an adoption form. Be sure to designate DonnaE as the rescuer and Clippy as the cat, contact Donna@BrooklynAnimalAction.org with any further inquiries.

Thank you for choosing adoption, your support allows us to make room for the next furry friend in need.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
