Meet Calypso!

Date of Birth: March 30, 2020

Calypso is a playful and affectionate girl who thrives in a social environment but also enjoys her independence. She adores boxes of all shapes and sizes and loves pets and attention. Plus, her enthusiastic approach to mealtime will have you smiling every time! One of Calypso's favorite roles is being the volunteer door greeter, where she eagerly welcomes visitors with her warm personality and friendly purrs. She truly knows how to make everyone feel at home!

Calypso is fully vetted and ready for her forever home, including vaccinations, snap test, deworming, flea/tick treatment, spaying, and microchipping.

Application and home check, adoption contract. Fees according to prevailing rate for local area. Generally $105 for kittens, and adult cats in Humboldt County, may be slightly higher in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
