My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grimm is looking for her human, and a home where she can be the only pet! She is a very sweet, affectionate, tiny and fierce little survivor who showed up as a stray this summer. She's spayed, vaccinated, FLV/FIV negative, and healthy. Vet estimates she is under 2 years old, and had a litter early so is full grown at 7 lbs.

She's fully house trained and very well behaved. Doesn't eat plants, scratch furniture or get into things and sleeps quietly all night! She will tell you her opinions about everything if you are spending time with her, but if not she will keep quietly to herself. She would make an amazing companion for someone without any other cats!

We adore her and would love to keep her but she has not been able to integrate with our other cats, and gets anxious and agitated. When not around other cats she is calm, affectionate and really well behaved.

Grimm goes outside during the day right now so she can have more space but she seems happy as an indoor cat as long as she has the run of the house. (She can't here because of our cats.) She's a wonderful cat and we really want to find her a home without subjecting her to a shelter after all she has been through. When she showed up she was in pretty rough shape but she's had full vet care, good food and love, and is now restored to health and a good weight for her size.

Her rehoming fee is $25.  We'll include 3 months of supplies- food, litter box, flea treatment, and flower essences to help with adjusting to a new home. PDX area. Call or message anytime!

Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. To help our potential adopters learn more about the cat(s), we encourage them to first contact and discuss with the foster family if it might be a good fit. Potential adopters must submit an adoption application for review and evaluation.

We require that adopted cats be mainly indoor cats and no declawing is allowed. Adopters must be over 21 years old and sign a contract that lists out his/her responsibility as the cat's owner.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
