Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blanche Muffin is a Frenchton, although she looks just like a Frenchie. The breeder's sister surrendered her to us because she did not get along with the other dogs in the home, so Muffin is looking for a forever home where she can be the only princess. She is all white with a black muzzle. Her first name is appropriate because it means "white" in French! But we call her Muffin. She is a sweetheart, loves affection, loves to run and play and loves praise better than treats. She also loves to lay in your lap and get belly rubs.

Vaccines Up-to-Date & on Heartworm Prevention: Yes

House-trained: Yes, trained to go "pee" and "poop" on command. Will go to the door if she needs to go. Foster is working on training her to ring the bell to go out.

Leash Skills: Good

Medical: Had a cherry eye when she came into rescue, but that has been surgically repaired.

LIKES/DISLIKES:

Toys: Likes a pet-safe chew bone

Other Animals: Dogs-no. Cats-unknown.

People/Kids: Loves people; older children would be okay. Barks at new people until she sees they are friendly.

Car Rides: Good

Separation: Whines a little. Foster plays radio or plays animal videos in front of her crate.

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.
