My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minnie Mouse is a funny name for a kitty ninja. She arrived in ITV's care after she snuck into a house and give birth to a litter of kittens. It must have been the right house because her finder let her stay there to raise them until they were ready for weaning. Minnie Mouse has been around kids and other cats. She does fine with dogs too as long as they mind their own business. The vet estimates she was born in early 2022. Minnie Mouse's ninja skills also make her adapt well to new situations; she strolled out of her carrier into the rescue center and said, "This is my new home, huh?" Not quite, Minnie, we want to find you a REAL home! Apply at ITVrescue.org to adopt this easygoing lady.

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
