My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charles is a male cat born in April 2023. He has a shortened tail, not quite half, not quite a true bob. Maybe a quarter tail? It definitely adds to his charm! He's a photogenic feline with his tuxedo coat. Charles arrived at ITV through no fault of his own. He previously lived with another cat, dog, and kids and had great litterbox manners. He is currently enjoying free-roaming in our cat area. Charles can do it all! Interested in adding him to your family? Complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org.

All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
