My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Timmy is an adorable 2.5-month-old male Chihuahua mix, weighing 3.5 pounds. With his playful energy, and love for toys, he’s sure to bring so much joy to a family that can keep an eye on him and give him the safe, watchful space he needs. Timmy would love to have a playmate but has sharp little teeth so young kids would probably not be the best. He’s coming along wonderfully with his training too, learning to sit and being comfortable in his crate are great steps for a young, curious pup like him! Please remember that puppies are a lot of work and will need continued socialization and training as they grow. Timmy is up to date on his vaccinations, has been dewormed and microchipped. We will call if we feel you are a fit for one of our adoptable pets. Once confirmed, we will set up a meet and greet with the pet.

Home Check

We will visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions.

Additional Information:

If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.

For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions.

Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them.
