Meet Loretta!
Breed: Lab/Pointer Mix
Estimated DOB: 05/31/2024
Sex: Female - Spayed
Weight: 30-35 lbs
Up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations
Things to Know about Loretta:
- Rescued from a small shelter in Arkansas with her three siblings, all placed on a euthanasia list due to overcrowding
- She’s a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. Hasn’t met young kids yet but is good with middle school age and up.
- Friendly and social personality
- Loretta has a great balanced energy—she can keep up with any playmate but also knows when it’s time to settle. She matches the energy of others and lets them know if they’re too much.
- Loretta’s a tough little spitfire! She’s unbothered by the size of other dogs and stands her ground, even after getting plowed over by the bigger pups. She just shakes it off and keeps going!
- A star in the crate! Loretta sleeps through the night quietly, goes in willingly for breaks, and even enjoys hanging out in the crates of her foster siblings.
- Doing well with housetraining! She heads to the door to signal she needs to go.
- Dog-friendly - She loves other dogs—wrestling, running, playing, and even napping with them.
- Young enough to learn to love cats
- Looking for a loving and committed forever home to give her the care she deserves
