My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Glory is fostered in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Glory and her single pup (already adopted) were brought into rescue from a rural property.  The lady acquired her from someone that had ill intentions.  Glory is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 45 pounds.  She is a beautiful standard red bi Australian Shepherd female.

Glory was previouly an outdoor dog, but has become quite accustomed to living indoors.  She is house trained, crate trained and has excellent house manners.  She goes to doggie daycare on a regular basis.  She does excellent with other dogs and even cats.  She is SUPER sweet and has an easy going personality.  Her favorite past time is chewing on antlers or goat horns. This girl is quite the catch and would make an amazing addition to any household.

Glory is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, negative for all tick borne diseases and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.

NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org

Additional adoption info

Meeting any dog within MASR requires an approved adoption application on file. We process as quickly as possible via volunteers. Then connect an applicant one at a time with a dog and foster home to arrange a meet and greet. If all parties at the meet and greet, including the dog, are in agreement that it is a good fit, the dog goes home that day.
