Kai is our sweet, adorable, 1-2-year-old Korean Jindo mix who weighs 37 lbs. Our trainers rescued him from Siheung City Shelter in South Korea in May.
As part of our mission, we envision a world where all dogs live happy and free. At our Rescue Center in Bundang, South Korea, we ensure every dog is thoroughly assessed for health, nurtured to build trust, and carefully evaluated to understand its unique personality before matching it with its perfect forever home.
Since arriving in NYC, Kai has been thriving with his foster family. This cutie loves sitting under his foster’s desk while they work and has even started coming over when they call his name! He’s growing more confident every day, and his favorite spot is by the window, which doubles as a chin rest with the perfect view. Plus, he’s discovered mirrors and can’t get enough of his reflection!
Meet our adoptable dogs Saturday and enjoy $50 off adoption fees for all adult Jindos exclusively available through Korean K9 Rescue.
Join us on Saturday, November 16th, at Big Bark Fest, a multi-rescue adoption event at Prospect Park, Bartel-Pritchard Square, Brooklyn. Pre-approved adopters are welcome from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the event opens to the general public from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We encourage you to submit your adoption application before the events for pre-approval. This can speed up the process and help you find your furry friend faster.
