Meet Kelce, a kitten with a heart as big as his personality. Kelce has successfully completed treatment for FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). FIP is a viral disease caused by a feline coronavirus that affects wild and domestic cats. This type of coronavirus is different from the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 in people. Please know that relapse is unlikely, but a possibility. Within our rescue, one of our founders and a two of our Board members have successfully treated their personal cats for FIP. If you would like to speak to one of them for more information on the disease, please let us know.
Kelce is now a healthy and happy kitten! His days are filled with playful energy, exploring every nook and cranny with his insatiable curiosity. Despite being the runt of his litter, Kelce's spirit is larger than life. He loves nothing more than a good cuddle session, his purrs a testament to his contentment. Kelce's playful nature and loving heart make him a wonderful companion. Kelce is bonded and must be adopted with Taylor, as they are littermates and the best of friends. They would do best in a home either with no other kittens or young playful kittens (same with dogs). They have been around a little dog a few months ago, but it has been a long time, so with proper introduction, should do ok with dogs.
