My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Ezekial. I am a three-legged ball of fun who was born in March of 2024 . I may have been hit by a car that led to the amputation of my leg. Luckily, I don’t remember a thing. In typical puppy fashion, I like everything and everyone.

I love food and can barely hold it together at feeding time. My foster mom is working with me on my bad habits, and she says that I am doing great.

I demand snuggles and attention and lean right into you. And man do I like to give kisses. I will jump up to try and kiss you straight up on the mouth.

You can’t even tell that I am missing a leg. I run and play and jump just like every dog. I love squeaky toys and nyla bones. I love chewing on things - that’s the puppy in me.

I am crate-trained and doing great on potty training. I sleep nice and quiet in my kennel at night.

I am also working on leash training, but I will get there, no doubt.

I also like the cats in my foster home. They let me sniff them and don’t even run away. They must love me, right?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please go to www.ndlbrescue.org and submit an application for adoption. Please check out our website for any questions you may have before emailing us.
Adoption Application and Contract are required. If adopted dog is under 4 months old, a spay/neuter contract is required along with a spay/neuter deposit. Before the dog will be placed in the potential adopter's home, a home visit will be required. Adoption fees range from $125.00-$650.00 but are listed with every dog.
