What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is my neighbor's dog. One of their kids brought this dog home from a Craiglist ad one day as a "Father's Day gift". His father did not want the dog and said the kids either need to take care of it themselves or get rid of it. The kids are neither taking care of this dog or getting rid of it... Instead, Ace is just completely neglected.
These owners are eager for my help to find Ace a better home. They want to get rid of him but unfortunately no one takes the time to figure out how to do so. So instead Ace spends 24/7 on the uncovered outdoor front patio. The family runs a daycare out of the house so Ace rarely goes inside, even when it's rainy. :( I have brought Ace over to our yard and let him play with our dog (75lb boxer/hound mix) - Ace absolutely LOVES this and is getting the hang of tricks for treats and what playing with a ball is all about. He is so cute and friendly.
He will do best with an owner that can train him and help expend his energy through exercise.
