Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Victor!
Age: Senior
Weight: 45 lbs
Breed: Lab mix
Good with: dogs and cats (no kids in his foster home but would do well with respectful kiddos who went slow with introductions/respected boundaries)
House trained: Yes
Crate trained: Can be if necessary, but trusted to be left to free roam
Victor is a goofy, cuddly pup who is is happy to be leaving his past behind and enjoying the good life now that’s he’s become an Albert’s dog in Wisconsin! Victor is dog and cat friendly and is enjoying all of the people he has met. This medium energy guy can start out shy, but once he’s comfortable with you he is happy to be a velcro pup, there’s no such thing as too close! He can be a bit shy/fearful and may benefit from another dog in his forever home to help build his confidence, though another pet is not required.
Victor is uneasy around new things, which presents as him shutting down/shaking. He does not seem to be afraid of people, though he is initially shy. He is a loyal and loving pup who is a quick learner and really starting to blossom in his foster home. He will require patience as he learns the ropes of a new home but his family will quickly see how special this gentle pup is and how rewarding it can be to watch him gain confidence.
Victor is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He’s always ready to play but his absolute favorite thing is to cuddle near his person. He welcomes an invitation to join his foster on the couch or bed. This blossoming wallflower is super curious about the world and would love someone to hold his hand -- err -- leash and be patient with him as he learns more about it. Could you be the person Victor is looking for?
*Victor is located in the Madison area
