My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rebel is a 3-5 year old pointer mix who was adopted from an overcrowded city shelter. She has been spayed, is in excellent health, and up to date on all veterinary care.

After recovering from surgery and coming out of her shell, it has become clear that Rebel needs more than her current home provides. She is safe and loved, but what she really needs to thrive is more space to RUN. Our small suburban yard simply doesn’t fulfill her need for daily zoomies. We have seen how happy she is to run full speed laps around a much larger fenced property.

When she’s not burning off energy, Rebel is very affectionate and loves to snuggle with her humans. She would do well in a family where someone is home for much of the day. Rebel would be fine with older kids who can handle her size and energy. She does not do well with cats or small dogs. Her current companion is a 9 year old male Aussie.

Beyond a home with more space, Rebel needs patient, loving owners who can commit to ongoing training.
