My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes:
Meet Hoots, the most affectionate lap cat you'll ever find! This sweetheart doesn't need much time to settle in-he's got an amazing ability to make himself at home quickly. When I first brought him home, he took a quick look around, explored his new surroundings, and then turned right back to nuzzle me with his head, as if to say, "I'm home."
This gentle, people-loving adores being around his humans every moment he can. Every morning, he'll rub his head against you as his way of saying "good morning," and when you come home, he'll run to greet you like he's been counting the minutes. Whenever you sit down, and he'll be right there on your lap, soaking up every pet and touch with pure joy. If you're busy, he'll patiently wait nearby or settle in your usual spot, watching over you quietly.
Hoots learns fast, too-just show him the routine, and he's got it. For example, after a few gentle reminders, he quickly understood that certain places, like the kitchen stove, were off-limits.
Hoots is also wonderfully low-maintenance. He knows just how much to eat, isn't interested in human food, and sleeps peacefully through the night without noisy play sessions. He's a sweet soul with a playful side, especially when it comes to laser pointers and anything red!
Think of him as a little "dog" who doesn't need to be walked-like a loyal dog, he pays close attention to outdoor noises, staying alert as he watches over you and his home-he just needs a loving person or family who's home often to keep him company. If you're looking for an affectionate, easygoing, and attentive friend, Hoots is the one for you!
