Calling all draft horse lovers - this is one you don`t want to miss! At just 5 years old, Phil has already reached almost 18 hands in height and truly the sky is the limit for this one! We mean his potential of course, not just his height!

While Phil is still quite green, he is a pretty easy going guy and was unphased when we introduced some tack to him. Despite this, he will do best with a patient adopter willing to take their time and really help build his confidence while continuing his training. Phil will need a farrier experienced with trimming and caring for draft horses. This is the area that makes him the most nervous, but with enough time and practice we are confident he will get on the right track!

Phil has lived out 24/7 since his arrival to Nevins and currently lives with his other draft buddy. He will always readily approach you in his paddock, especially to check if you`ve come with a food delivery. Phil`s one request of his new family is to make sure he never runs out of hay! We really feel this boy will benefit from having a job so if you`re looking for a new driving or riding partner, we hope you`ll consider this handsome fellow!
