My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sadie!

Sadie is 3 years old and weighs 68lbs. She was found as a stray after giving birth to puppies and no one came looking for her.

Sadie loves people and loves to please them. She will roll on her back to show you her belly for belly rubs and follow you where ever you go!

Sadie loves a game of fetch but will not always give the ball back. She enjoys playing with her squeaky toys and also enjoys lying in the sun smelling the air. She does get a case of the zoomies when she first goes outside in the morning.

Sadie enjoys her leash walks and is learning how to heel. She can pull with excitement when she first starts walking. She is treat motivated and smart, she loves to please so will be fun to train.

Sadie is potty trained and weighs 67lbs. She is dog friendly but unknown about cats. Sadie is spayed, and vaccinated.

Sadie would enjoy a family that wants a loyal dog that wants to please them and show affection. She would do best with children over 6 years of age as she could easily knock over a smaller child and can get a little exuberant when playing. She has average energy so would be content with a walk and a game of fetch in the yard.

More about this rescue

We are a registered 501(c)(3) non- profit, charitable organization. Our mission is to rescue dogs from overcrowded and high kill shelters, and place them in loving homes. We also strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spay/neuter, so that one day there will no longer be adoptable dogs, euthanized by the thousands in our shelters. We are an all volunteer organization. 100% of donations go directly to the care of the dogs.
