Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sahara is an adorable little tortie that gets along with everyone. Sahara was born to an outdoor cat being fed by a kind family and was just too cute and sweet to put back on the street after surgery. Since coming into her foster home, she has been an easy going and loving guest.
For families with small children you can feel safe that Sahara will keep her distance from chaotic energies and has never attempted to scratch or bite her foster mom or vets when picked up.
For those with other pets, she is aware, respectful and receptive. She doesn’t bother the other cats who are in her foster home and waits patiently for her turn to eat. She is a bit on the shy side so she won’t be jumping on the other pets trying to play, but she very much enjoys playing with toys and her human, chasing mouse toys, ribbons, and laser pointers with enthusiasm and athleticism.
For those that are busy or travel frequently, Sahara is independent and content to play on her own, look out the window, and nap on her cozy cat shelf in the closet.
She can be easily picked up, medicated, placed in a carrier, and is good about getting her nails clipped. She rarely meows or demands attention or food. She will come up to you for pets and purr loudly. She always uses the litter box and only scratches her scratching posts.
Sahara is still a little timid and gets scared of loud noises like the vacuum where she will try to hide, but for the most part she is a calm and confident little girl who would be a fun and affectionate companion.
She is FIV/FELV negative, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. To adopt her, please apply here: https://form.jotform.com/231054483045147

More about this rescue
We are a rescue organization made up of 3 members and a few volunteers who started rescuing cats at the beginning of 2022. We rescue all ages, colors , breeds, and sizes of cats, from strays to the ones losing their homes. Our members are located in the counties of Miami-Dade and Broward, Florida. Our goal is to save as many cats as possible and give them a chance at a forever home. Last year, we saved over 100 cats, some we adopted out ourselves and some went to other rescues. We might be a small group, but every day we move mountains to help and save as many cats as we can, even when our resources aren’t the most plenty, because every cat deserves a chance at a loving home. Besides rescuing, we also invest our time in TNR initiatives as this is a sure way of helping with the feline crisis over population.
