My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Leo, the sassy five-year-old ginger king of the jungle (or at least the living room)!

With his fabulous lion's mane haircut, Leo struts around like he owns the place, demanding the royal treatment from everyone who crosses his path. This fluffy little fella might be a house cat, but trust us, he believes he's the ruler of the entire kingdom!

With a purr that can melt just about anyone's heart, Leo is as friendly as felines come. Whether he's chasing after a toy or looking like the majestic guy he is, Leo knows how to keep life entertaining.

Leo is always happy to greet you at the door with a tail held high, ready to shower you with affection and a few soft purrs! After a long day, there's nothing like a warm, orange ball of fluff curling up next to you.

If you think Leo sounds like the guy you've been looking for, submit a pre-adoption questionnaire at the link below today!

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress
