Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rocko has come a long way. He came into the shelter starved. His obsession with food was very strong. After a few weeks ,he now knows that the dinner table is not meant for begging and barking dogs. Rocko is about 60 percent potty trained . He would only use the bathroom in his kennel. Now he follows the older dogs outside to potty. He has had a few accidents. But they are at the back door that leads to the yard. He knew he had to go out but we weren`t fast enough to let him out. Rocko loves his two foster brothers. They have taught him a lot. He also is really good with the two cats that live with him. Rocko loves to hang with his foster brothers outside in his safe yard. He has stayed away from the free range chickens that roam the yard. His foster brothers have taught him that they are not to be harmed. Rocko also has learned that anyone that comes to the door must be barked at. And his bark is really deep and intimidating. Rocko is a fast learner. He would do great with another dog who knows the rules. Any family would be very lucky to have such a smart and happy go lucky dog. Rocko needs walks and is being trained on a leash. He pancakes once on one. But I feel that will be quickly fixed once he is used to it.
