My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oso, a canine companion who`s all heart. His name means `bear`, but he`s more teddy than grizzly. He`s an adult dog with a youthful spirit, always ready to play or take a leisurely stroll. Oso`s disposition is as sweet as honey, and he`s friendly to everyone he meets. His favorite pastime is cuddling, whether it`s on a cozy couch or a sun-drenched patch of grass. He`s a loyal friend, eager to give and receive love. Oso`s an absolute joy to be around, making every day brighter with his unwavering positivity. Adopt Oso, and let his warmth fill your home and heart.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
