Available for adoption in Orange County ONLY! Zac is an 8 month old Airedale terrier mix who weighs 33lbs. He may grow to be up to 60lbs. He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
While sweet, Zac is shy and will need a patient home that can provide him with the structure he needs to succeed and build his confidence. He is much more confident with a friendly dog friend around, so we are only considering homes with other dogs for him. He does have a lot of energy, so he will do best in a home that is active and can ensure he gets enough exercise. He is afraid of cats.
Like most puppies, Zac will need help with basic training (crate, potty, and obedience). He's already getting the hang of crate and potty training. For the home willing to put in the effort, Zac will be SO worth it!
If you are interested in changing Zac's life for the better, please fill out an adoption application on our website!

Launched in 2021, Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is a Newport Beach-based 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. We are entirely foster-based and are no-kill. Our mission is to help as many homeless dogs and cats as possible find loving and compassionate adoptive families.
We accomplish this by being good stewards of donations, inspiring dedicated volunteers and fosters, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and being advocates for each animal that comes under our care. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of as many animals as we can.
Diamond's Friends Pet Rescue is named in honor of our founder's late dog, Diamond. She was a fantastic foster sister to numerous dogs and was a friend to every animal she met. It is our hope that many more animals in need will get to be one of Diamond's friends.
