My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Silas, a young feline who embodies sweetness and a touch of shyness. He`s a curious soul, always eager to explore the world around him, whether it`s a rustling paper bag or a mysterious shadow on the wall. Silas is a good listener too, always there to offer a comforting purr when you need it the most. He`s an expert at turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones with his playful antics and gentle nature. Silas is not just a cat, he`s a companion, a friend, a confidante. Adopting Silas means bringing home a bundle of joy, a ray of sunshine, and a partner in every adventure. Let Silas fill your life with love, laughter, and lots of purrs.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
