My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet FRANKIE

Rescued: 10-21-2023
Age at the time of rescue: 2 months old
Current weight: 18 pounds

Frankie is currently being fostered in NH with another dog and is blossoming every day!

Frankie likes his crate, doing great with housetraining, likes going for walks and likes to play with other dogs. He's a gentle, happy, and sweet boy. He is a petite boy, with long legs & a big heart.

He would love another dog his size or smaller to play with.

We received an urgent call that a puppy was on the side of a road screaming in fear and not moving. Emergency X-rays showed that his neck had several fractures along with many bite wounds. The collective conclusion was that he was attacked by another dog and given what is referred to as the "death shake" when animals are fighting for their lives. Our little fighter Frankie is a miracle! While he was being given his first bath to help remove the maggots that covered his body, Frankie stood up and took several steps forward to get away from the water. This was day one and every day since he's proven to us that he has a true will to live. He is a happy dog who loves to play! He beat the odds and is making the most of his second chance.
