My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here is a chance to adopt an older dog who no longer has the energy or habits of a young pup! She does not feel like she always needs to have attention or be in your personal space, but she is a happy girl who doesn't cause any trouble. She would love a nice place in the country to live out the rest of her years, but she could also do well in other settings. She has spent a lot of her life with limited freedom, so we want to see her in a place where she can do a little exploring or have a fenced in yard.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are available to meet any day. Please contact us ahead of time to coordinate a meeting.

More about this shelter

We are a small rescue located in the country outside of Winner, SD. We have a limited number of dogs in our care at any given time, which allows us to work with each of them individually in order to get a good feel for their personality and the kind of family/living situation they would thrive in. The dogs are available to meet any day of the week, but please reach out to coordinate a time. We appreciate your support, and thank you for considering adoption!
