Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Buddy! This purebred male Jack Russel Terrier, weighing 17lbs, just turned 4yrs old. Sadly, he needs a new home because of severe asthma allergies in the current household. As anyone familiar with JRTs knows, they need lots of exercise and activities. Our Buddy is no exception. He is a very high energy boy. He loves to go for walks, run around in the yard, and he’s a great swimmer! He is a very high jumper so a fully fenced yard is a must. He broke his leg last year during some hijinks, so he has a metal plate in his leg and it cost him a toe….neither of which seem to bother Buddy! As a typical JRT, Buddy suffers from some anxiety. He is initially nervous with new people but then calms down. He doesn’t love lawn mowers or hair dryers. As with most JRTs, Buddy is much calmer when he gets proper exercise.
Buddy is also pretty smart. He can do basic commands - sit, stay, fetch – and he is crate trained. He’s neutered, UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, good with other dogs, cats are unknown. Children under 13yrs are not recommended.
