Meet Tot, an adorable 7 month old Dachshund mix! He's like the real life "slinky dog" from Toy Story! This sweet and happy pup warms up quickly and melts your heart......and never stop wagging his tail! He's happiest following you around the house or snuggling on your lap, so he will make the perfect companion for someone who enjoys cozy moments! Already potty trained and crate-friendly, he's well on his way to being a wonderful addition to your home! He does well with other dogs and is an all-around great pup! Currently, Tot is doing a great job on leash-walking and getting more confident each day! If you're looking for a loving, loyal friend who is willing to receive your endless belly rubs and snuggles, Tot is your perfect match!

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
