My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Foster Writes:
Bonbona is the perfect cure for the winter doldrums. She's a total sweetheart and just the ray of sunshine you'll want around on those dark nights. She'll run you around the house chasing her favorite wand toy, then crawl into bed and nuzzle you. She's the total package!
Bonbona has flourished in her foster home, where her confidence and affection have grown quickly. A sweet kitty with a hearty appetite, she always cleans her plate and will never say no to a snack. She's easy to take care of, quiet at night, and happy to let you sleep in. She is respectful of your things and will give you a warm welcome when you get home. She's playful and funny and enjoys nothing more than hanging out on the couch with her favorite people (you!).
Whoever scoops up Bonbona will be truly lucky!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

Bonbona tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.

A volunteer writes: Bonbona has the type of stylish independence I've been striving for my whole life. Marching to the beat of her own drum, she does her own thing and sets the tone, living up to her own expectations. This is fabulous, admirable, and joyful, but is it conducive to shelter life? Not so much. Bonbona really wants to meet her forever family, one who will celebrate her independence as much as she does. To meet them, however, she might need to make a few more appearances out of her cubby to say hello. This doesn't quite fit with her current style, but I think she's been asking herself how to do it especially since she has the support of a whole team beside her. Bonbona may not be a fan of strangers, but her previous family explained that she loves her crinkle toys and looks particularly adorable when she's chasing after her toy mouse. While she's decidedly not loving the Care Center, we're sure she'll love the time and space you'll give her when you welcome her home
