My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simba is generally a stoic gentleman. He does love to help out with the chores. Sometimes that entails taking a ride on the vacuum cleaner. Other times he is giving you an encouraging pat on the back. He also loves to play with any kind of toy. Simba is a tough, “little” guy. A common upper respiratory infection caused his eyes to be too swollen to open for a whole week. He will have a simple eye procedure before he goes onto his forever home.

All animals adopted are spayed and neutered and current on shots and worming. Dogs are also microchipped.
Fees:
$130 adult dog
$250 puppies
$70 adult cats
$95 kittens
Purebreds/specialty breeds may be priced higher.

Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Pioneer Humane Society, a non-profit 501(3)c organization, is to promote and provide humane treatment of animals through education and fostering/sheltering/adopting homeless animals. Its programs and services are administered through PAWS (Pendleton Animal Welfare Shelter). PAWS serves the community by reducing pet population through spay/neuter programs and maintains a commitment not to euthanize healthy adoptable animals.
